Our Review:

SwingersDateClub.com is a friendly and welcoming niche adult dating site that’s packed with features. That said, it doesn’t have the clearest layout, which makes it trickier to navigate, especially if you’re a newbie here.

One of the first things to point out is that this is no ordinary adult dating site. ‘Swinging’ is a particular scene associated with broadminded couples. Whilst single members may have some luck on the site, you’re more likely to hook up if you’re part of a couple looking to meet another couple, though some couples do look for single males and females too.

At the time of this review there were 3,406 online and around 100 chatting online, which isn’t very many. However, do remember that this is a niche site and so membership is unlikely to match that of the biggest generic online dating sites in this category. Members tend to come from the UK and Europe and a lot of the profiles feature couples. If you’re interested in meeting a couple or if you’re in a couple then read on. Otherwise you might want to consider whether another site in this category might be more suitable.

It’s free to join and all you need is a valid email address. At this point you’ll need to declare your swinger status. If you’ve no idea about your status, this adult dating site may not be for you. Free membership allows you to create a profile and upload photos and receive a variety of communications, for example, emails, webcam chat messages and IM. However, you can’t respond unless you upgrade, which puts a big dent in your chances. Free members can also read member blogs and online ads.

The cost of upgrading is very good considering all the features you get. Premium membership allows you unlimited two-way contact with all members, including email, IM chat and webcam chat (with video). The webcam chat rooms can be quite busy and there’s always someone to chat with. Premium members also get to see full profiles (free members have a limited view). In terms of hooking up, there’s a lot of information on swinging events, including a party guest list that you can add yourself to, add your travel plans to the travel calendar and add yourself to the photo or video spotlight. Furthermore, you can also participate in blogs, advertise events and post ads to other members.

You’ll also find all manner of great search tools including a very detailed member search (including criteria specifying location, physical characteristics, dating preferences and much more). There’s also a name search, location search, keyword search, and even validated member search (it’s worth validating your membership to show other members it’s really you). There’s also a range of one-click tab searches (including new members, who’s online and who likes us).

If you’re into the swinging scene then this is a great site packed with original features to help you get together with other swingers at a great price. However, if you’re not part of the scene your money might be better spent elsewhere.
