Our Review:

TrueAdultDate.com doesn’t immediately inspire by the way it looks. The site is rather cluttered, which makes it difficult to find your way around the site and organise your love life. It’s also missing chat rooms. However, in terms of size, it has an impressive membership base and is buzzing with members online.

At the time of this review there were over 1,000,000 members registered, comprising males, females and couples mainly in the USA. When we browsed the site there were 125,071 online, which is very impressive and gives a real buzz to the site. The majority of profiles are complete, often with multiple photos (up to 5) and are reasonably detailed. You can find information on dreams and goals, hobbies, sexual preferences, personality and more.

It’s free to register with the site and it takes just a couple of minutes. Once signed up, you can then create your own profile, add photos and perfect your personal ad. Free members can browse limited profiles (not everything on a profile can be viewed by free members), create a hotlist of favourite member profiles and even receive emails from upgraded members. However, while you’re notified of a message, you can’t read it until you subscribe. Therefore, to stand any chance of getting to know other members you’ll have to upgrade.

There are two classes of membership available. Silver membership is the less expensive and gives you unlimited email, flirts (automated messages that you can send at the click of a button to express interest in another ember) view full profiles, create a friends list, use advanced search tools and more. If you want top billing, Gold membership gives you a special profile, puts your profile at the top of search results ( allegedly getting you 5x more attention) and you even get a 4 month guarantee whereby if you don’t meet anybody you get 4 months free. Both Silver and Gold members get ‘Cupid Matches’ by registering who you are looking for. The site then matches you with other members who match that description and who are looking for somebody like you.

Free members can use the quick search, which is effectively a keyword search. Silver and Gold members get an advanced search that incorporates a range of criteria including who and what kind of relationship you’re looking for, age range, distance, country and state. As advanced search tools go, it’s pretty limited. Moreover, there are no search filters to help you screen out fake or inactive profiles. As an aside, Gold members can also watch adult movies online for free or live cam shows (extra per minute fee applies).     

With reference to technical support, the rather brief FAQs section on the site might help with some basic queries but is unlikely to resolve more complex issues. Email support is available with priority for subscription members (24 hour response for Silver members, 12 hours for Gold). 

TrueAdultDate.com looks a little amateur and it’s tricky to find your way around because of the layout of the site. You’ll also be disappointed if you like online fun, as there are no chat rooms to be found. However, you’ll find loads of members online.  For the cost of membership it’s something of a disappointment.
