A Big Warning about IWantU

This site appears to be largely an entrance for scammers. Although there is an option to report scammers, there seems to be precious little action about them on the part of the operators. And you will pay for everything and I mean everything. If you join as a free member the site will initially lure you in with emails purporting to be from members. In order to view these emails you need to join. Unfortunately once you join, set up a profile and reply to the emails you will never here back from a genuine person again. Admittedly the response that you receive on any dating site might depend on the profile you establish, but having set up a decent profile with photos, not to have a response back from any of the members who supposedly email you after two weeks, even a polite refusal, is a bit telling. It's interesting that most of the same profiles in your search criteria appear to be online no matter what time of day or night that you access the site. What you will receive are lots of chat requests and fewer messages from members who will basically try to scam you.... (Read the full review) In summary, I would not recommend IWantU to a friend.
