Abuses & terminates members at whim, lousy software w/out security

SLS is an abysmally-run website & company. They rake in tons of cash, but invest zilch in the operation. All the staff and coders are incompetent volunteers. And they are incompetent, un-businesslike, unprofessional and outright abusive of paying customers. The software is still HTML 1.0 from almost twenty years ago and contains loads of bugs they often don't bother to fix when customers point them out. A few examples: constantly says you have mail when you don't, rearrange-photo-order tool doesn't work, can't permanently delete messages. If you delete the account but don't first turn off auto-bill they keep billing you and you have no way of turning it off and guess what no refunds. Profile blocks can be easily circumvented. For YEARS there were issues where all private photo security could be bypassed by slightly altering the URLs. And that's just for starters. You can Google/reddit all that up if you wish. People are drawn to SLS because it appears to have the largest membership. But from what we could tell, a ton of the profiles were just single males who had posted one female photograph so they could open a free account as a couple ten years ago â€“ so... Horrible Customer Service, Treat Lifetime Members like a nuisance.

We have been lifetime members for one year. Customer (dis)service is hostile, unprofessional, and unhelpful. We are among several lifetime or paid members we know (from discussions with those members) who objectively brought issues to the attention of tech support - with the goal of improving the community - to be informed that if we were unhappy, tech support would gladly assist us in deleting our profiles. The site "upgrade" has been nothing but cosmetic. None of the known bugs have been addressed, nor have any of the problems that paid members experience from "guests" (non-paid users). For example, if a non-paying user harasses you, and you use the "ignore" feature in chat - that ignore is only good for the non-paid user's session. This is well known and the trolls will simply log out and log back again and, VOILA! - they are no longer on your ignore list. The site administration is well aware of this "feature" and has no plans to fix it in the so-called "upgrade". The enforcement of terms of service is arbitrary and capricious at best. Swinglifestyle or SLS if you prefer. All in all best navigated as a free member or at very most a month to month. Customer Service is NON-Existant and at best self serving. If you pay the one-time fee to be a 'Lifetime Member' lifetime is defined as how long they'd like you to be there. Put up too many pictures, chat too often, whisper between two consenting adults, all grounds for irrevocable termination. No warning, no second chances. What they are offended by , who knows, but you can read about many of their 'no no's' in their stories section. Kinda pot calling the kettle black no? Anyway forewarned is forarmed. ? Hmm had to give tech support one star (site won't let ZERO stars go thru) In summary, I would not recommend Swing Lifestyle to a friend.

Threats and harasment

They allow members to threaten and harass other members and you can not report them if your a free member. In summary, I would not recommend Swing Lifestyle to a friend.

We have been nudists for years, but for most of that time we stuck to the "family" type clubs where people actually do occasionally bring kids. Of course there are swingers visiting these clubs too, but they have to keep a low profile and be very careful about approaching new people. The first time a couple approached us we politely declined but it did open up the previously taboo subject. Eventually we decided to try swinging, but by then it was mid winter so I hit the Internet. By a fortunate accident I found SLS! They offer a free membership that includes full search capability AND a limited number of emails every day, so you can try the full site for free! That made me think they just might be legit, so I wrote a profile, posted a G-rated picture and started searching. I found a good prospect almost immediately and sent them an email. They wrote back, a phone call followed, and we had a date! We went to their place, talked for a while to get comfortable, and then spent the rest of the night fucking them.
