Sexy Ads is an interesting site which has been around since 1997. It has sizable contingents from most of the English speaking countries, and accomodates every sexual orientation. It encourages the creation of an ad rather than using simplistic check boxes. An unpaid member can get an excellent feel for the site, as profiles are fully visible to everyone - you just can't send messages without paying. The advanced search (paid only) is excellent. The site does have a lot of inactive profiles.
The average age on the site is probably over 40 - whether that's good or bad depends on what you're looking for. The site has a lot more BBW's than young hotties. After a month of paid membership I believe that there are absolutely no fake profiles and no come-on emails. They may not be models, but they're real, every one of them, and that is a hell of lot more than you can say about most of the flashy sites.
In summary, I would recommend Sexy Ads to a friend.
